Simply Change - just Bowen Manchester

 

Welcome to my first blog, it felt fitting to start near the beginning of 2018, not that I’m a one for New Year’s resolutions, but I do enjoy this time of shorter darker days to reflect on what the last few months have given me, and ponder on what I aspire to achieve or experience over the coming ones.  This is a ritual I honour myself with each quarter turn of the calendar. It allows me to see and feel what is working for me, what might not be and where I need to direct my energies.  It basically keeps me on track, offers me an opportunity to rebalance, re-evaluate and rekindle my inspiration for who I am and what I do.  Respecting of course that when we go with the flow every day offers opportunity for change.

 

So I am taking this turn of the wheel as a chance to simplify the way I portray my professional skills to the world, allowing me more time to do what I love doing best - which is helping people regain their health and wellbeing through my clinical practises - together with space for me to be open to new social pursuits too.  Last year was a very left brain head down studious time, so more fun ordered up for the coming months.

 

Over my years of working in the complimentary health field my work has evolved to incorporate new training and new skills, and this organic growth has led to two distinct streams of business, with their own websites and social media - all of which has become pretty time consuming.  To simplify I am merging The Joy of Nutrition within Bowen Manchester, as an integrated health practise.  

 

One website, one newsletter and one set of social media supporting and sharing the services I offer.   I will find great satisfaction in this change, knowing it is a job overdue but well done and fulfilling.

 

This simplification will see the addition of this new blog page allowing me to share:

 

 more in depth information on the Bowen Technique, how it works and why you and others might    

    benefit, with case histories 

how to improve your health through food and nutrition together with when & why supplements really         may be worth taking 

mindfulness and meditation as an essential part of helping us stay sane with our busy stressful lives 

looking at wonderful naturopathic treatments supporting natural healing

holistic health and energy medicine, Reiki and vibrational essences

 

 

What might you use these winter nights to change and simplify in your life?  What has been on your mind that you can now sit down and find the time to ponder or put into action?

 

 

Change is good, bring it on and enjoy.
